| Any outdoor-rated security camera should work - there are also a few "underwater" security cams, but they are not IP based, if that makes any difference. Your bigger issues will be keeping fog off the lens area of the camera. For the camera, Lorex makes a decent consumer grade wired security camera (CVS1000) that is submersible to 160 feet for about $200. It has night vision, too. Frys Electronics carries them. For wireless, the best I could find are merely out-door rated. You'll probably have to seal them with caulk. Remember, "wireless" cams still need power, so not truly wireless. The company that makes RainX has a product "FogX" that is easy to use and should work well to prevent fog build-up. Many auto parts stores carry RainX products. |
